Today, with the initiation of our Medicine Wheel Program, A Promise of Health is able to reach 20 rural communities in northeastern Yucatán, serving 158,000 rural poor. Since our founding in 2001, until the end of our last fiscal year (June 30, 2007) we have treated 41,000 patients! Using effective and low cost homeopathic medicines, our skilled physicians and medical team are able to successfully treat a vast variety of illnesses. Over 94 types of acute and chronic conditions are treated. For cases requiring special care, A Promise of Health has developed a network of healthcare providers in Mérida including the Hospital Horan, cardiologists, dentists, ophthalmologists, optometrists, chiropractors, and orthopedic surgeons who have generously donated their services. The delivery of low cost, primary healthcare is a paramount and growing issue of concern in every country of the world, especially those with fast growing populations such as Mexico.
