A PROMISE OF HEALTH 25 Year Anniversary This year is A Promise of Health’s 25th anniversary! It all started in Huhi, a small Maya village in rural Yucatan. One Saturday in early spring of 2001 we brought our first Homeopathic doctor and nurse and opened our a Saturday clinic. That first day, nearly 100 people crowded into the clinic wanting to see the doctor! Working into the night, the doctor was only able to treat 63 patients. Obviously, the need for a doctor was profound! These poor people, who had no reliable or affordable medical care needed help! A Promise of Health grew rapidly. Treating patients one day a week soon grew into seeing patients all week. Working in one village then grew to many! By the end the 8th year, A Promise of Health’s homeopathic medical team had seen and treated more than 65,000 patients! |
In 2010, A Promise of Health moved to Oaxaca to even poorer indigenous communities among the Zapotec and Mixtec. Response was the same! Crowds of patients came, waiting to see our homeopathic doctor.
During these 25 years, A Promise of Health in both Yucatan and now Oaxaca, has treated more than 100,000 patients, using a homeopathic doctors and medicine!
