One of
A Promise of Health’s
greatest strengths is its hardworking and dedicated staff. All native
Yucatecans, they know firsthand the poverty and despair found in rural villages.
Because they are making a difference, their pride is infectious; their work
superb. |

Dr. Aaron Cruz Zamudio, DH
Dr.
Aaron Cruz Zamudio is our newest homeopathic doctor. He is a recent graduate of
the Escuela Libre de Homeopatía de México, IAP, where he also received training
in surgery and childbirth. His assignment will encompass a new Medicine Wheel
that will serve rural communities to the south and west of Mérida. This Medicine
Wheel is sponsored by two Rotary Clubs. One is the Mérida Montejo Rotary Club
and the other is the Rotary Club of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Since it is necessary to
drive to the pueblos, the doctor will live in Mérida. Though many communities
are close by the large city of Mérida, extreme poverty exists.
